Mike Schick — "Garage Band I" is a compelling example of contemporary photographic line art that draws from the tradition of modernist abstraction and graphic design. The work's alignment with the minimalist movement is evident in its stark monochromatic palette and the reduction of the subject to its essential form. Schick employs a technique reminiscent of fine-line illustration, where the interplay of light and shadow is rendered through meticulous cross-hatching and tonal gradation, creating a sense of depth and texture without the use of color. This approach echoes the work of mid-century graphic artists who sought to capture the essence of an object through simplified, geometric forms. The composition is balanced and centered, with the guitar's body and neck forming a strong vertical axis that guides the viewer's eye. The use of negative space around the instrument enhances its prominence and contributes to the overall sense of calm and order. This piece is not merely a representation of a musical instrument but a meditation on form, line, and the aesthetic potential of the everyday object. In the context of late 20th- and early 21st-century art, Schick's work bridges the gap between conceptual art and fine art photography, offering a visually striking and intellectually engaging interpretation of a common cultural artifact. The interpretive significance lies in its ability to transform the familiar into the extraordinary, inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty in simplicity and the elegance of a well-crafted line. For more art by Mike Schick click here.

Had to look hard to find it again
My husband loves this watch. This is his second one, and it was hard to find this one, exactly like the last one - which lasted for years. Good overall watch, easy to read, reliable.

POOR PACKAGING
Disappointed that the watch arrived only in plastic bag without bubble wrap envelope. The plastic box was broken and the paper box old , I bought it for my father as a gift, and I had to buy other box because it seemed like used. Good: it arrived on time.
The watch is really nice and functions well.
BE CAREFUL WITH PACKAGING!!!

Don't buy its a waste.
Very cheap watch. Sharp edges and adjustment of the band although easy to do, the parts are very flimsy. Don't wase your money.
